Diet for Hypoglycemia

Reactive Hypoglycemia Diet?

I have reactive hypoglycemia. What do I eat, how do I cook these meals? I need help! I'm so used to cooking hamburger helper and simple things like that. Any tips are greatly appreciated, thanks! Okay, the person that said eat anything, doesn't know what they are talking about. Alright, the serious knowledgable people please answer this. As anyone knows, reactive hypoglycemics must limit refined sugars/carbs. I just don't know how to cook meals that would be hypoglycemic friendly.

  1. It doesnt have to be fancy food. Anything really high in sugar should do it. Orange Juice for example usually works really well. For some people all you need to do is eat ANY food and the symptoms will subside. Hope this helps.
  2. drink 60-80 ounces of water a day (about 4-5 16 ounce water bottles a day). do not eat a lot of salt. that will make you retain the water you are drinking. so keep your salt intake to a BARE MINIMUM. And salt is in almost all foods, so read labels! Eat NO fried foods or sugary foods. Eat only raw foods like fruits, vegetables (id suggest getting in 6-8 fruits/veggies a day), lean meats like turkey breast, baked fish and chicken. dont eat any red meat. eat about 5 times a day to speed up your metabolism. Take a multivitamen.
  3. You should give this product a shot. It's called Acai Berry and it's new on the market, but already endorsed by people like Oprah! I just ordered a free 14-day trial from this site.. do it today! you won't regret it!
